Getting Started

Here’s how to accept the invitation and get started ProHabits.

Locating your invitation email

If you think you should have received your invitation email and it’s not in your inbox, there’s a good chance it’s in your spam folder.

Open your invitation email and select your ProTrack

In your invitation email you will have the option to select between sets of different kinds of MicroActions (aka. ‘ProTracks’ e.g., ProFocus, ProLeadership, etc). Pick the track that you feel aligns best with your current goals and aspirations. Don’t worry about picking the wrong track — you can always switch tracks later (see the ‘setting your preferences’ section below).

Set your notification schedule

After you select your protrack you’ll be taken to a window that allows you to specify your notification timing. Select the days of the week you plan to be in the office and find a convenient time of day to receive your daily activities.

Select your delivery method

For your daily ProHabits notifications you can choose to either receive SMS text messages, an email, or both. Simply click your preference.

Adding a profile picture

To add your profile picture…

  1. Go to your dashboard.
  2. Click the camera icon above the graph showing your streak.
  3. Pick your favorite photo!

Completing your daily MicroActions

Morning Email

Every morning, at the time you’ve personally specified, you’ll receive an email with your daily MicroAction. Click I Commit and you will receive another notification (over email or text) later that day asking if you did it.

Selecting a different MicroAction?

If your day’s action isn’t relevant for your role or your day, you can select a new one.
In your daily email click Different Activity. This will take you to a page where you can select from all your previous activities, and a couple upcoming activities, in your current ProTrack.

Repeating Microactions?

Follow these instructions to repeat the same microaction every day.

  1. Go to your dashboard.
  2. Click I Commit for the day’s activity.
  3. Look to the top right-hand corner of your Daily Activity section.
  4. Click the button that says Repeat Activity.

To stop repeating the activity and continue completing the rest of the ProTrack simply click the button again any time. Alternately, selecting Different Activity will pause the repeated action.

Evening Email

In the evening you’ll receive a second email asking if you completed your MicroAction for the day. Click “I did it!” to mark your action as completed.

Sharing a story with your team

After you complete an action, you can leave a brief public comment about your experience. You can use the opportunity to share how it went, what you learned, a challenge you faced during the day, or anything else that comes to mind.


Simply type ‘@’ then the name in order to tag someone in your story to give recognition or express gratitude.


With story reaction you have the opportunity to let your team know how you feel about their thoughts and experiences. Does a story make you smile, laugh, or maybe even inspire you? However it leaves you feeling, select the emoji that you feel is the most appropriate. Just hover your cursor over the ‘like’ button beneath a story. Your emoji options will appear and you can click one to leave a reaction.

Know your ProHabits dashboard

Daily Activity

Located at the top of your dashboard, your daily activity contains your daily MicroAction. If you don’t want to wait for your usual notification time you can just go straight here to see your day’s activity.

Adding activities to favorites list

Click the heart located under Today’s Activity to add an activity to your
favorites list.

Your favorites list can be found on your dashboard by clicking the icon in the upper right hand corner and then selecting Favorite Activities. You can choose to complete an activity from this list by clicking Different Activity, either in your morning email or in the Daily Activity section.

Activity Feed

Located in the center right hand side of your dashboard, the feed shows your team’s public activity. Here you can see your team’s streaks and completed actions along with stories and reactions.


The leaderboard shows everyone’s number of completed actions and thier streak (the number of days in a row someone has completed their daily MicroAction). You can see how your immediate team is doing, and how you’re measuring up, by selecting the drop down menu just above the leaderboard tab.


Notifications help you stay up-to-date with your team and the activity in your feed. To see your notifications click on the bell icon in the top right-hand corner of your dashboard. Here it will tell you if people have tagged you or if anyone has reacted to one of your stories.

My Progress

Located front and center on your dashboard, My Progress shows your streak, number of activities completed, and your activity history. Here you can see how far you’ve come and all the progress you’ve made. On the bar below, you can click on any given day to see the activity that you completed.


To see your entire team’s progress, click on the Company tab located right next to the My Progress tab. Here you can see what ProTracks are most popular with your team, the number of commitments made, the top activity, and the most favored activity.

Setting your preferences

To change your preferences go to your dashboard and click the icon (containing either your initials or your picture) in the upper right hand corner and select Profile Settings.

Setting Email and Text Notifications preferences

In order to change the days of the week:

  1. Go to your preferences
  2. Scroll down to Notifications and click all the days of the week you would like to receive the notifications so that they are green.
  3. Set your Time Preference and double check the time zone.
  4. Click save!

Turning on Out of Office aka “Vacation Mode”

If you plan to be out of the office for any reason, you can use this mode to pause your notifications so that you don’t miss a day or lose your streak. Here is how to set yourself on vacation mode:

  1. Go to your dashboard.
  2. Click on the icon in the upper right hand corner and select ‘profile settings’.
  3. Scroll down to Out of Office and add new out of office days.
  4. Select which days you’re going to be out of the office.
  5. Click save!

Stopping and Switching your ProTrack

You can select a new ProTrack at any time if you feel that a different ProTrack may be a better fit. Simply…

  1. Go to your dashboard.
  2. Click the icon in the upper right hand corner.
  3. Click Profile Settings.
  4. Click Switch ProTrack.

To stop your track click “Stop ProTrack”

To select another track:

  1. Click the Choose another ProTrack button.
  2. Select your new ProTrack.
